What can you find today? Come enjoy a ranger led hike and see what animals are out today. We will be hiking the Tutelo Trail by the Staunton River Visitor Center. The hike is .12 miles long.

Make sure to bring your water, closed toe shoes, and bug spray!

About National Trails Day

On the first Saturday of June, Virginia State Parks celebrates National Trails Day®, an annual event sponsored by the American Hiking Society encouraging outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels to explore hiking, biking and equestrian trails. Virginia’s 44 state parks offer guided hikes, trail maintenance workshops and volunteer opportunities to highlight trail stewardship and the importance of preserving trails for future generations.
