Let your creativity run wild as you dive into a world of nature-themed crafting fun. Young artists can choose from a variety of nature-inspired crafts such as animal masks, opossum puppets, butterflies, turkeys, or even a batteau craft. Each activity is designed for hands-on fun, and as you create, you will also discover interesting facts about the animal or theme you are working on.

Whether you enjoy cutting and coloring or simply want to explore something new, Crafty Critters is the perfect place to make a keepsake to remember your time at James River State Park. Come create, learn, and take home a little piece of the park!

Please meet at Canoe Landing. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and bring a water bottle with you. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
