This program aligns with July’s theme, Defending the Republic: The Union Cause, and focuses on the Union leadership that helped bring about the final collapse of Confederate resistance. Explore the lives, leadership, and legacies of the men who played a decisive role in one of the last major engagements of the Civil War.
