National Canoe and Kayak Day is here and we want you join us for a Kayak Paddle trip to fossil beach! Westmoreland sits upon cliffs filled with fossils that are revealed over time and polished by the Potomac River. Come learn about the features and creatures of our river while enjoying beautiful views of our cliffs along the way!
Never kayaked? No worries, no experience needed, we will show you! We will be holding two trips this Friday at 9 a.m.-11 a.m. & 1 p.m.-3 p.m. from the boathouse to fossil beach and back, making it a ~2-mile round trip. Sign up for the time slot that works best for you using the link below, we will contact you over the phone two days before the program to confirm your reservation and take payment.
