Take a guided walk with a park ranger and butterfly expert in search of colorful creatures of the meadow! First, you'll get tips and tricks for learning butterfly identification and anatomy as well as a glimpse into their amazing life cycles and awe-inspiring adaptations. On the trails, you'll stroll beside vibrant meadows to catch sight of these delicate beauties.
What to Expect:
The walk will be slow-paced and up to 1.5 miles on a flat meadow trail. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and sun protection; you'll be in sunny open meadows with little to no shade.
Registration:
While registration is not required for this program, it is recommended. If you register, we will be able to contact you if the program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
