This summer’s Outdoor Theater and Music night at the Amphitheater will emphasize music.
6 p.m. - Jim-Anne Country will open with a set of traditional country songs, presented on fiddle and guitar, with Jim Gates providing the vocals and stories behind the songs.
6:30 p.m. - The Country Cabin II Line Dancers will strut across the stage, executing a precision dance routine to fan-favorite country tunes.
7 p.m. - The Trail of the Lonesome Pine is known for its old-time music as well as the story of the beginnings of the coal boom in 1890s Big Stone Gap. The performance will highlight songs from this summer’s 62nd season production.
Admission is free. $5/car parking fee does apply.
