Sky Meadows invites kids ages 7-10 to Junior Ranger Camp, a four-day-long, half-day adventure in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Give your child a screen-free camp experience of outdoor discovery at Sky Meadows State Park. Park Rangers will lead a small group of campers through hands-on activities, including guided hikes, agriculture education, outdoor skills, and more. Campers will explore the park's historic farmstead, tend gardens and livestock, experience diverse habitats, and discover the legacy of stewardship that has brought Sky Meadows to where it is today. To reward your campers for embodying the values of park service, the week will conclude with a graduation celebration to certify our newest class of Junior Rangers!

All camps are Tuesday-Friday. Camp age groups are for children ages 7-10. The fee is $150 per camper. Registration is completed via Eventbrite. Campers may register for one session per summer:

Week 1: Tuesday, 7/14 - Friday, 7/17 - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Week 2: Tuesday, 7/28 - Friday, 7/31 - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
