Who wants to make paint with us? For Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend we're offering Ranger-led sessions of our popular Nature Painting program! Have you ever made paint from natural materials?

Our paint making program offers a space for all kinds and levels of artists to come together and learn how art relates to nature and history by making pigments from nature. With the paint we make, we'll show off the colors by painting some of the scenery around Foster Falls.

We'll offer three sessions of Nature Painting. Advance Registration is required. Please call the Park office at 276-699-6778 to reserve places for your Girl Scouts.

10 am-11 am
1-2 pm
and 3-4 pm

About Girl Scouts Love State Parks

Every September, during Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend, Virginia State Parks offers a variety of programs to connect Girl Scouts with nature while earning badges. From guided hikes and plant identification to campfire building and backpacking basics, this special weekend helps Girl Scouts learn outdoor skills, build confidence and become advocates for the environment.
