Step back in time on a hike to the park's historic cabin ruins under a canopy of a mature mixed hardwood forest, where you’ll learn about the historical uses of native plants and trees, the story of the park's land, and how the remains of the cabin fits into its fascinating history.

What to Expect:
Be prepared to walk on a forested, out-and-back trail for about 2 miles total. The majority of the trail is flat, but also includes a steep hill as it approaches a creek. Bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes. Friendly dogs are welcome and must be on a 6-foot leash. This trail cannot be accessed by the park's all-terrain wheelchair.

While registration is not required for this program, it is recommended. If you register, we will be able to contact you if the program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
