Come with us on a guided canoe tour of the beautiful lake at Fairy Stone State Park. Learn the history of the old iron-ore mining 'boomtown' of Fayerdale, which now lies below the surface of the lake, and the reason it is there now.
The program cost is $15 per canoe rental or $5 to bring your own boat. Life jackets are required and provided. Registration is required and must be made in person at the park office prior to the event. The paddle trip is for ages 4 and up; children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Boats leave at start time. Participants must arrive 15 minutes early to board canoes. Maximum participation: 12 boats (3-4 per canoe depending on size of individuals).
