The Friends of Occoneechee State Park is a citizens support organization that supports the park's mission. They volunteer their time and assist with ongoing and future activities at the park, present programs, promote awareness and responsibility regarding stewardship and conservation, and fundraise for park projects.

The Friends group meets every second Wednesday of the month at the Clarksville Town Hall (located at 321 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927) in the Chamber Room. If you love Occoneechee State Park, they would love to have you stop by and learn more!
