Join us for our final garden workday of 2026. The park's pollinator, shade, and fern gardens provide habitat for wildlife and educate park guests on the benefits and beauty of native plants. In addition to pulling invasive species and planting native species, we'll celebrate with a native seed exchange. If interested, bring native seeds from your home garden to swap with others.

Gardeners of all levels welcome. Please wear closed-toes shoes and bring work gloves and water. Children ages 12 and older are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian. Email sweetrunvolunteer@dcr.virginia.gov or call 540-668-6230 with any questions.
