Did you know Westmoreland is one of Virginia's original state parks? Come step back in time with us on a guided hike to uncover the incredible legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Together, we’ll discover how these young men built this park by hand during the Great Depression—and spot the lasting imprints of their hard work that still stand today!

We will trek ~1.5 miles over a mix of paved, gravel, hardpack, and rooty terrain. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle! In greyscale, four 1930's era trucks drive past a grass field and a stone fountain.
