Co-Op Trail Hike: Opt Outside

Forgo the shopping and take a hike with a park ranger. Co-Op Trail is a hiking only trail and offers stunning views of Swift Creek Lake. The construction of Co-Op Trail was sponsored in part by REI, and each year we hike the trail the day after Thanksgiving as part of their #optoutside campaign.

Please dress for the weather. Trail is hard packed gravel with some roots and inclines. This 2.5-mile hike is geared towards all ages. Suitable for strollers, with assistance, and younger children may need to be in a carrier.
