BYOB "Bring your own Binoculars" and join an Interpretive Ranger on this adult only program for some quiet, laid-back birding around Old Pond Trail and Campground Walkway. No binoculars? No problem! We have a limited supply available for you to borrow. Fall is here and leaves are departing the tree branches! This means that many of our native and winter resident birds will be easier to spot, so it’s the perfect time to get outside to look and listen for our feathered friends. Meet up at the Visitor Center sign. In order to not scare the birds, we want to keep human noise levels to a minimum, therefore, this bird walk is for adults only and please, no pet dogs.

This is a recurring Monday program, so join us on 11/9, 11/16, and 11/23 to see the bigger picture of the stories of the birds of Lake Anna State Park! Whether you are new to birding, or an avid birder, this is a wonderful time to participate in the hobby with others while enjoying a peaceful morning stroll at the park Looking for more birding opportunities? Join us on our family-friendly Owl Prowl: Park After Dark programs!
