Our Park Rangers will be at Fossil Beach showcasing some of their favorite fossils and helping you find your own! Come fossil hunt with us and learn about how these pieces of ancient history wash up on our beach!

Big Meadow Trail is about a one-mile hike round trip with moderate grade and rooty terrain. Dress appropriately for the weather on that day and bring a water bottle. If weather is not suitable for comfortable fossil hunting, our rangers will set up a table in the Visitor Center.
