Chippokes State Park is proud to partner with the Back Bay Amateur Astronomers Club to introduce a special dark night sky and stargazing opportunity for all to enjoy. Club members will use their telescopes to share the night time sky with park visitors.

Visitors will be free to ask questions, observe, and look through telescopes during this public viewing outreach event. Chippokes has great horizons for astronomy in every direction.

Parking is available at the Farm & Forestry Museum Parking lot. Chippokes Staff will direct guests down Quarter Lane to the event space. This event is not weather dependent and is held rain or shine. The Quayle Classroom will serve as an educational space if the weather turns sour.

A map of the public viewing event can be found on the Back Bay Amateur Astronomer website.

We hope to see you, under the stars, at the East Coast Star Party.
