WOODBRIDGE, Va. – Virginia State Parks will be initiating a new day-use reservation system this summer that will require all guests to make a reservation before their visit during June through September on weekends and state holidays.
“Leesylvania State Park reaches capacity almost immediately after opening on the weekends during the summer months, which are the park’s busiest days,” said Leesylvania State Park Manager Kenny Ashdown. “This day-use reservation system will prevent the park from getting overcrowded, so everyone can enjoy these magnificent natural resources. Our goal is to keep the park guests safe, and this is one measure we are taking to ensure we continue to do so.”
The day-use reservation system will allow visitors to effectively plan their trip and guarantee admittance upon arrival. A nominal $2.00 transaction fee, assessed by the software vendor, will apply. This reservation fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be resold or auctioned.
To ensure a smooth visit, please make a reservation for all weekend and holiday visits from June through September. Reservations must be made prior to arrival, no later than 11:59 p.m. the day before your planned visit. Guests will not be admitted to the park without a required reservation.
