Smith Mountain Lake State Park to host seasonal hiring event

HUDDLESTON, Va. – Smith Mountain Lake State Park will host a hiring event on Saturday, May 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. Individuals interested in seasonal summer positions are encouraged to attend and explore a variety of job opportunities, including:
- Beach Maintenance Ranger
- Beach Ranger (lifeguard)
- Chief Beach Ranger (chief lifeguard)
- Contact Ranger
- Food Service Ranger
- Food Service Assistant Manager
- Food Service Supervisor
- Maintenance Ranger
During the event, attendees can complete an employment application and interview with park rangers on site. Free snacks will be available.
