This is a beginner's float trip with boats provided. This trip will traverse ~2 miles.

Date: October 12, 2026. 1:00 p.m., 3 hours
Location: Bob’s Fishing Hole - 4243 S. Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322
Maximum capacity: 14
Age: 12 years and older in single kayak; 10-11 years old in tandem with adult (there are 6 single and 4 tandems, so max of 8 individuals that need to be in a tandem)
Pets: No
Amenities: One "rustic" porto john is available on site; recommended to take advantage of facilities prior to arrival
Clothing: Please dress appropriately for the weather and paddling, including a hat.
Supplies: Bring snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, hydrating fluids, any special medical needs (insulin, snacks, EpiPen, etc.)
Participants should be able to:
- Understand and follow directions to avoid/manage risks.
- Tolerate the elements including temperature for the duration.
