Have you ever wanted to pan for gold? Well, this is your chance! Holliday Lake State Park invites you to come out and experience this fun recreational activity at our park. Join us as we learn a little about the history of gold in these parts. We'll provide panning equipment and then will hike on the trail to our panning site. We will hike about a half mile total on sometimes uneven and steep terrain. This activity is dirty and wet, so please wear close-toed shoes and plan accordingly. You can park at the Redbud Bathhouse or there is parking in the field across the road. Please arrive on time to join us!
