Have you ever wanted to pan for gold? Well, this is your chance! Holliday Lake State Park invites you to come out and experience this fun recreational activity at our park. Join us as we learn a little about the history of gold in these parts. We'll provide panning equipment and then will hike on the trail to our panning site. We will hike about a half mile total, and the terrain can be uneven and steep. This activity is dirty and wet, so please plan accordingly and wear close-toed shoes. You can park at the Redbud Bathhouse or there is parking in the field (overflow parking) across the road. Please arrive on time to join us!
