Details/DescriptionThe Department of Conservation and Recreation will be hosting a ConserveVA Listening Session with Deputy Secretary for Natural Resources Josh Saks and Department of Conservation and Recreation Natural Heritage Program Director Jason Bulluck. The session will take place on Friday, June 28th in the early afternoon.
During the session, DCR will share some background with stakeholders about the development of ConserveVirginia as a tool to assist land use and planning, provide a demonstration of its capabilities, and answer questions that our friends in the government, non-profit, and land conservation community may have. I wanted to be sure we invited you and any colleagues who may have an interest in attending. It may be of particular interest to planning, parks and recreation, and GIS staffers as well as local officials and non-profits engaged in land conservation efforts.
