Details/DescriptionThe Association of State Floodplain Managers' (ASFPM) Certified Floodplain Manager exam will be offered
on December 9, 2022.
In order to be accepted to take the exam, you must submit your completed application and fee by November 23, 2022. No walk-ins will be allowed.
Location: Hopewell Library, 209 East Cawson Street, Hopewell VA 23860.
Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Cost: The national exam fee is $185 for ASFPM members (includes 2-years of CFM Certification) and $565 for non-members.
This exam will follow the 4-day L273 offering at the same location that week. (You received an invitation for that class recently.) Attending the class is not required to take the exam and you are not required to take the exam at the conclusion of the class.
This will be a paper-based exam. Computer-based exams are also available at testing sites around the state. There is more information regarding those on the ASPFM website.
